Clutch Switch: Description and Operation

DESCRIPTION - CLUTCH SWITCH
On vehicles with manual transmission, a normally closed clutch switch is also installed in line with the brake switch. This switch opens when the clutch is depressed and serves a similar purpose as the brake switch. Cruise control is disabled when the clutch is depressed.
