Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS)

The Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) sends a pulsing voltage signal to the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) which the PCM converts to miles per hour. This sensor mainly controls the operation of the Torque Converter Clutch (TCC).
