Speakers

BASE SPEAKER SYSTEMS
High performance extended range speakers are standard with full Electronically Tuned Receiver (ETR) systems. There are two front speakers, one in each front side door and two rear speakers, one in each quarter inner rear rear finishing panels.

Convertibles are equipped with coaxial speakers. There are two front speakers, one in each front side door, and two rear speakers, one in each front quarter trim panels.

OPTIONAL SPEAKER SYSTEMS
Chevrolet coupes are available with four speaker coaxial systems. The speakers consist of two coaxial speakers, one mounted in each front door and two coaxial speakers, one mounted to each front quarter trim panel.

Pontiac coupes are available with six-speaker systems. The speakers consist of two speakers mounted in the front doors, two speakers mounted in the front quarter trim panels, and two speakers mounted in the quarter inner rear trim finishing panels. Pontiac coupes are also available with ten-speaker systems. The speakers consist of four speakers mounted in the front doors, two speakers mounted in the front quarter trim panels, and four speakers mounted in the quarter inner rear trim finishing panels.

In addition to the standard system, Pontiac convertibles are also available with two dome tweeters mounted in the front doors for a total of six speakers.
