Circuit Operation

Battery voltage is applied at all times to the Horn Relay at terminals "A2" and "C2." When a Horn Switch is pressed, or the Body Control Module (BCM) initiates a tamper/alarm cycle, a ground is placed on the Horn Relay Coil at terminal "Al." The Horn Relay contacts close, applying battery voltage to the Horns. The Horns continue to sound until the Horn Switch is released, or the tamper/alarm cycle ends.
