Tail Lamp: Service and Repair

Remove or Disconnect
1. Reposition rear compartment trim.
2. Taillamp nuts (131) attaching taillamp (126) to rear end finishing panel.
3. Taillamp (126) from rear end finishing panel.
4. T aillamp turn signal and backup lamp sockets from taillamp (126).
^ Rotate sockets 90 degrees in taillamp (126) to unlock and remove.
5. Taillamp. turn signal and backup lamp bulbs (127 128, 129 and 130) from sockets.

Install or Connect

NOTICE: Refer to Service Precautions / Vehicle Damage Warnings / Fastener Requirements.

1. Taillamp, turn signal and backup lamp bulbs 127, 128. 129 and 130) to sockets.
2. Taillamp, turn signal and backup lamp sockets to Taillamp (126).
^. Rotate socket 90 degrees in taillamp (126) to lock and secure.
3. Taillamp (126) to rear end finishing panel.
4. Taillamp nuts (131) attaching taillamp (126) to rear end finishing panel.
Tighten
^ Nuts (131) to 3 Nm (27 lb in).
5. Position rear compartment trim.
