Accessing and Reading Diagnostic Trouble Codes

DTC that affect UTD operation can be stored in different systems. Refer to UTD DTC list for a list of UTD DTCs that can affect UTD operation. Antitheft and Alarm Systems
The DTCs that affect UTD system operation are read in only one of following two ways:
- Through the Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC).
- A scan tool.

Clear any history DTC after a system malfunction is corrected in order to prevent future misdiagnosis.
