The SECURITY indicator is internally controlled by the Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC). The IPC illuminates this indicator when IPC receives an indicator illumination request message on the serial data line from the Body Control Module (BCM) or for bulb check. The IPC provides power and ground to illuminate this indicator.
