Instrument Panel Cluster UV Inverter Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

IP Cluster UV Inverter Replacement: Removal Procedure:

1. Remove the Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) from the vehicle.
2. Remove the Ultra-Violet (UV) inverter wiring covers; unsnap.

3. Disconnect the UV inverter electrical connectors.
4. Remove the UV inverter mounting screws.
5. Remove the UV inverter.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

IP Cluster UV Inverter Replacement: Installation Procedure:

1. Install the UV inventer to the IPC rear cover.
Align the UV inverter onto the rear cover alignment pins.
2. Install the UV inverter mounting screws.

Tighten
Tighten the UV inverter mounting screws to 0.7 N.m (6 lb in).

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in General Information.

3. Connect the UV inverter electrical connectors.

4. Install the UV inverter wiring covers.
4.1. Align the covers on the alignment pins.
4.2. Snap the covers into place.
5. Install the IPC to the vehicle.
