REMOVAL PROCEDURE

Rear Lift Window Panel Emblem Replacement: Removal Procedure:

1. Heat the emblem to between 32°-38° C(90°-100° F) to aid in removal.
2. Peel the emblem from the lift window panel.
3. Clean any remaining adhesive from the lift window panel using a adhesive and stripe removal disc or a suitable cleaner.
^ 3M(R) Scotch Bright Molding Adhesive and Stripe Removal Disc, or equivalent.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

Rear Lift Window Panel Emblem Replacement: Installation Procedure:

1. Clean any remaining adhesive from the lift window panel using an adhesive and Stripe removal disc or a suitable cleaner.
^ 3M(R) Scotch Bright Molding Adhesive and Stripe Removal Disc, or equivalent.
^ 3M(R) General Purpose Adhesive Cleaner 08984, or equivalent.
2. Heat the emblem and contact surface of the lift window panel to between 32°-38° C(90°-100° F).
3. Peel the protective liner from the adhesive on the back of the emblem.
4. Position the emblem:
^ Centered to the centerline of the vehicle.
^ 37 mm (1.5 in) forward of the rear edge of the lift window panel.
5. Press the emblem firmly in place. Use a hand roller to wet out the entire surface.
