General Description

The fog lamps are mounted to the impact bar at the front of the car. To the use the fog lamps, first turn on the low-beam headlamps or parking lamps. Then, push the fog lamp switch to turn on the fog lamps. Push the switch again to turn off the fog lamp. The fog lamp switch is located in the left side of the instrument panel.

The fog lamps should not be used as a substitute for the headlamps.
Switching to high-beam headlamps will turn off the fog lamps; switching back to low-beams will turn the fog lamps on again.

The fog lamps must be aimed for proper illumination of the road. Fog lamp aim should be checked: at least once a year; when a new lamp is installed; or if service or repairs in the front end area have (or may have) disturbed the fog lamp mountings.
