Shift Linkage: Service and Repair

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Negative battery cable.
2. Shift knob.
3. Console. Refer to Instrument Panel, Gauges and Warning Indicators.
4. Cable at control lever and base.
5. Floor shift control bolts.

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Floor shift control bolts.
2. Cable at base and control lever.
3. Console.
4. Shift knob.
5. Negative battery cable.
