Condenser HVAC: Service and Repair

Condenser Mounting:

Remove or Disconnect

1. Air cleaner and duct assembly.
2. Recover refrigerant. Refer to "Refrigerant Recovery and Recycling, Adding Oil, Evacuating and Recharging Procedures."
3. Radiator.
4. A/C lines at condenser.
5. Condenser.

Install or Connect

1. Condenser.
2. New O-ring seals on hose and pipe fittings coated with mineral base 525 viscosity refrigerant oil.
3. A/C liquid line to condenser.

Tighten
^ Fitting to 27 N.m (20 lb. ft.).

4. A/C compressor to condenser line

Tighten
^ Fitting to 27 N.m (20 lb. ft.).

5. Radiator.
6. Evacuate, charge and leak test system. Refer to "Refrigerant Recovery and Recycling, Adding Oil, Evacuating and Recharging Procedures."
7. Air cleaner and duct assembly.
