Lamp Switches
Most interior and exterior lamps are controlled by the switches on the cluster trim plate to the left of the steering column. Turn the switch to the "P" symbol to turn on the parking lamps, taillamps, sidemarker lamps, and the instrument cluster lamps. To turn off the lamps, turn the switch to "OFF" Turn the switch to the bright light symbol to turn on all the above lamps plus the headlamps. Turn the switch to "OFF" to turn off the lamps. The thumbwheel next to these buttons controls the inside lamps, and the brightness of the instrument cluster lamps. Rotate it to the bottom to dim the instrument panel lamps. Rotate it all the way to the top, past the last detent, to turn on the interior lamps.
Headlamp low-beam/high-beam is controlled by the turn signal lever on the left side of the steering column. With the headlamps on, pull the lever toward you until you hear a click. The lamps will change from low-beam to high-beam, or from high-beam to low-beam. When the low-beam headlamps are on, only the two outer bulbs will light. When the high-beam headlamps are on, only the two inner bulbs will be lit.
