Wiper Motor Linkage: Service and Repair

Wiper Transmission Components:

Remove or Disconnect
1. Wiper drive system module from vehicle.
2. Wiper motor assembly and wiper motor crank arm from transmission assembly.
3. Two boots (55) from two wiper transmission drive shafts (A).
4. Four screws (56) and wiper transmission assembly (13) from tube frame (53).

Install or Connect

NOTICE: Refer to Service Precautions.

1. Wiper transmission assembly (13) on tube frame (53) with four screws (56).

Tighten
^ Four screws to 7 N.m (62 lb. in.).

2. Two boots (55) On two wiper transmission drive shafts (A).
3. Wiper motor assembly and wiper motor crank arm on wiper transmission assembly.
4. Wiper drive system module on vehicle.
