Folding Top Roof Bow Replacement (Number 3 Bow)

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
Start at the rear of the folding top and work your way forward.

Folding Top Roof Bow Replacement: Number 3 Bow - Removal Procedure:

1. Perform all steps necessary to remove the number four bow (4).
2. Remove the screws attaching the headliner to the number three bow (3).
3. Remove the staples attaching the stay pad to the number three bow.

4. Remove the screws attaching the number three bow to the main control link bracket (3).
5. Remove the number three bow.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

Folding Top Roof Bow Replacement: Number 3 Bow - Installation Procedure:

1. Install the screws attaching the number three bow to the main control link bracket (3).

Tighten
Tighten the screws attaching the roof bow to the main control link bracket to 14 N.m (10 lb in).

Folding Top Roof Bow Replacement: Number 3 Bow - Installation Procedure:

2. Staple the stay pad to the number three bow (3).
3. Install the screws attaching the headliner to the number three bow.

Tighten
Tighten the headliner attaching screws to 2 N.m (17 lb in).

4. Install the number four bow (4).
