REMOVAL PROCEDUREFolding Top Stowage Compartment Lid Latch Replace: Removal Procedure:
1. Open the stowage lid and position the top with the number one and five bow up.

2. Remove the stowage lid extension panel.

3. Disconnect the electrical connector.
4. Remove the bolts attaching the latch.
5. Remove the latch.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
Folding Top Stowage Compartment Lid Latch Replace: Installation Procedure:
1. Install the bolts attaching the latch.
2. Adjust the latch up and down to flush the lid and side to side to gap the lid to the quarter panels.
Tighten
Tighten the folding top stowage lid latch bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

3. Route the manual release cable down over the carpet.

4. Install the stowage lid extension panel.
Tighten
Tighten the stowage lid extension panel bolts to 4 N.m (35 lb in).
5. Close the lid and secure the folding top.
