Lumbar Pump Replacement (First Design)

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
The first design lumbar pump and control module are combined into one unit. The unit is riveted to a bracket under the front of the seat.

Lumbar Pump Replacement: First Design - Removal Procedure:

1. Remove the seat.
2. Remove the rivet attaching the pump to the front of the bracket.
3. Slide the pump forward disengaging the pump's rear mounting tabs.
4. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
5. Disconnect the air hose connectors.
6. Remove the pump.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

Lumbar Pump Replacement: First Design - Installation Procedure:

1. Connect the electrical connectors to the pump.
2. Connect the air hose connectors to the pump.
3. Attach the pump rear mounting tabs to the underside of the seat.
4. Rivet the front of the pump to the bracket under the front of the seat.
5. Install the seat.
