Seat Back Cover and Pad Replacement - Front (Base Seat)

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

The seatback cover can be removed without removing the seat. However the seat is much easier to service when removed from the vehicle.

Seat Back Cover & Pad Replacement: Front - Base Seat:




1. Remove the seat.

2. Tilt the seat back forward.
3. Unhook the seatback cover lower J strips.
4. Unzip the seatback cover.
5. Reposition the cover unhooking the hook and loop fasteners.
6. Pull the cover up over the top of the headrest.
7. Remove the upper fasteners attaching the foam pad.
8. Remove the foam pad.

IMPORTANT: Do Not attempt to pry the release lever bezel or the release lever out of the seatback frame.

9. Remove the release cable lever from the seatback frame by depress the locking tabs and pushing the lever out of the seatback.
10. Remove the bezel from the lever by spreading the bezel locking tabs.

11. Remove the seatback cover.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

Seat Back Cover & Pad Replacement: Front (Base Seat) - Installation Procedure:




1. Install the seatback release lever to the seatback.
2. Install the foam pad over the seatback frame.
3. Attach the foam pad top straps with fir tree fasteners.

4. Position the cover over the foam.
5. Zip the cover closed.
6. Firmly pull the seatback cover down over the seat frame.
7. Install the seatback release lever bezel.
8. Hook the seatback lower trim cover J strip.

9. Install the seat.
