Seat Back Cover and Pad Replacement - Front (Sport Seat)
REMOVAL PROCEDUREThe seatback cover can be removed without removing the seat. However, the seat is much easier to service when removed from the vehicle.
Seat Back Cover & Pad Replacement: Front (Sport Seat) - Removal Procedure:
1. Remove the seat.

2. Remove the insert pillow.
IMPORTANT: There are two size fir tree fasteners used. if the head of the fastener is 19 mm (0.75 in) it is possible to remove the trim by slightly raising the fir tree fasteners and then sliding the seatback cover tab over the head of the fastener. If the head of the fir tree fastener is 25 mm (1 in) it is necessary to cut or chisel off the head of the fastener.

3. Check the size of the fir tree fasteners heads.
4. Raise or remove the four lower fir tree fasteners and detach the seatback cover from the seat frame.
5. Unzip the seatback cover upper zipper.
6. Pull the seatback cover from the bolsters and reposition the cover up over the headrest.
7. Remove the fir tree fasteners from the foam pad upper retaining straps.
8. Remove the foam pad.
IMPORTANT: Do not attempt to pry the release cable lever out of the seatback.

9. Remove the release cable lever from the seatback frame by depressing the locking tabs and pushing the lever out of the seatback.
10. Remove the bezel and cover from the release lever by spreading the bezel locking tabs.
11. Remove the bezel from the cover.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
Seat Back Cover & Pad Replacement: Front (Sport Seat) - Installation Procedure:
1. Install the seatback release cable lever to the seatback frame.
2. Position the seatback foam pad and cover over the seatback frame.
3. Attach the foam pad top straps with fir tree fasteners.

4. Pull firmly down of the seatback cover.
5. Install the seatback release cable lever bezel.
6. Attach the seatback cover with the fir tree fasteners using one of the follow methods:
^ Slide each of the seatback cover tabs over the 19 mm (0.75 in) head of a lower fir tree fastener and push the fastener in to secure.
^ Install new fir tree fasteners through the seatback cover and the lumbar bladder assembly into the seatback frame.
7. Zip the upper zipper closed.
8. Tuck the zipper ends out of sight into the seat trim.
9. Pull the back of the seatback cover down firmly.
10. Tuck the lower corners of the seatback cover over the foam.

11. Install the insent pillow.
