REMOVAL PROCEDURETow Hook Replacement: Rear Export - Removal Procedure:
1. Remove the rear fascia.
2. Cut through the welds attaching the tow hook to the impact bar.
3. Remove the tow hook.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
Tow Hook Replacement: Rear Export - Installation Procedure:
1. Position the tow hook to the center of the rear impact bar.
2. Mig Weld, with 55 mm (21/4 in) long welds, the hook assembly to the impact bar in 4 places: front, rear, inboard side, and outboard side.
3. Clean and prepare all welded surfaces.
4. Apply an approved anti-corrosion primer. Refer to GM P/N 4901 MD Refinish Manual.
5. Install the rear fascia.
