I/P Courtesy Lamps

The I/P courtesy lamps are used within the courtesy lamp feature. The BCM activates the CTSY LP Micro Relay #42 by grounding CKT 690. Battery voltage is then supplied from the CTSY LP Micro Relay #42, through CKT 740 to both of the I/P courtesy lamps. When the Body Control Module (BCM) experiences a courtesy lamp request, it activates the MONITORED LD Micro Relay #43 in the instrument panel electrical center by applying a ground to CKT 690. This causes battery voltage to be applied to CKT 740 and to the I/P courtesy lamps. The I/P courtesy lamps will then illuminate. The I/P courtesy lamps are grounded by CKT 150 through Splice Pack #202, #201 to G201, G202.
