Horn: Description and Operation

When the Horn Switch is depressed, the coil side of the Horn Relay is grounded. The relay is energized, and the switch side of the relay closes and battery voltage is applied to the Horns.

The Remote Control Door Lock Receiver can also ground the Horn Relay to produce a Horn Chirp which confirms the locked state of the door locks. Refer to Keyless Entry for operation and diagnosis of the Horn Chirp. Keyless Entry
