Air Cleaner Housing: Service and Repair

Removal Procedure





1. Loosen the clamp (3) at the air inlet duct.
2. Pull the air inlet duct away from the ACL assembly (1).
3. Remove the two bolts (2) from the air cleaner (ACL) assembly.
4. Remove the ACL assembly (1) from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure





1. Install the ACL assembly (1) onto the vehicle.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Secure the ACL assembly with the two bolts (2).

Tighten
Tighten the ACL assembly bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

3. Connect the air inlet duct to the ACL assembly.
4. Tighten the air inlet duct clamp (3).
