WHEN AN IGNITION KEY WITH CORRECT RESISTOR PELLET CODE IS USED TO START THE ENGINE
The theft deterrent module performs the following actions when using the correct ignition key to start the engine:
^ Enables the theft deterrent relay by grounding circuit 625. When the theft deterrent relay is energized (ON), it completes the circuit between the ignition switch and the starter (circuits 5 and 6).
^ Sends a password to the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) through circuit 229. As a result, the PCM allows fuel delivery to the engine.
