Battery Rundown Protection

The headlamp switch has a timer that turns off the dome lamp and the inside rearview mirror reading lights (by opening circuit 156) when the I/P dimmer switch is left in the DOME position, or when any door is left open for over 10 minutes. To avoid draining the battery, make sure the inside rearview mirror reading lights switches are off. The inside rearview mirror reading lights switches, when left on, are not covered by the battery rundown protection.
