I/P Compartment Lamp

The I/P compartment lamp illuminates anytime the I/P compartment is open. The I/P compartment lamp receives voltage at all times from Fuse 28 through circuit 240. The I/P compartment lamp receives ground from the I/P compartment lamp switch through circuit 175.

The I/P compartment lamp switch closes with the I/P compartment open, turning on the I/P compartment lamp.

To avoid draining the battery, make sure the I/P compartment is closed. The I/P compartment lamp, when left on, is not covered by the battery rundown protection.
