Rear Compartment Lamp

The rear compartment lamp illuminates anytime the rear compartment lid is open. The rear compartment lamp receives voltage at all times from Fuse 28 through circuit 240. The rear compartment lamp receives ground from the rear compartment lid ajar switch through circuit 744.

The rear compartment lid ajar switch closes with the rear compartment lid open, turning on rear compartment lamp.

To avoid draining the battery, make sure the rear compartment lid is closed. The rear compartment lamp, when left on, is not covered by the battery rundown protection.
