Sustained Interior Lighting

The headlamp switch controls the sustained interior lighting feature. After all the vehicle doors are closed and the ignition switch is in the OFF position, the headlamp switch keeps the courtesy lights on for 16 seconds, then gradually dimming them off. The sustained interior lighting is canceled when the turning the ignition switch to the RUN or START position during the 16 seconds interval.
