Hazard and Turn Signal Flasher

The hazard warning and turn signal flasher is part of the turn signal circuit. The hazard switch is on the right side of the steering column. Sliding the switch up will cause the front and rear turn signal lamps, and the front sidemarker lamps, to flash. Slide the switch down to turn off the hazard flasher. The hazard flasher will work with the ignition either off or on. When the hazard flasher is on, the turn signals do not work. The hazard and turn signal flasher is mounted to the dash mat below the steering column.
