Instrument Panel Center Support Bracket Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE



1. Remove the I/P assembly.
2. Remove the connector housing bracket from the right I/P center support brace.
3. Remove the two plastic retainers (2) which secure the floor panel carpet to the I/P center support braces (1).




4. Remove the following components from the vehicle:
^ The three nuts
^ The two bolts
^ The I/P center support braces (5)

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE



1. Install the I/P center support braces (5) to the vehicle. Secure the braces with the following retainers:
^ The three nuts
^ The two bolts

Tighten
Tighten the I/P center support brace nuts and bolts to 20 Nm (15 lb ft).




2. Install the two plastic retainers (2) that secure the floor panel carpet to the I/P center support braces (1).
3. Install the connector housing bracket to the right I/P center support brace.
4. Install the I/P assembly.
