Evaporative Emissions System: Testing and Inspection

EVAP System Inspection




1. Visually inspect the [1][2]EVAP lines, hoses and connection for the following.
^ Sharp bends or kinks
^ Deformed lines and hoses
^ Cracks
^ Fuel leakage
2. Repair or replace any lines and hoses as necessary.
3. Check the fuel filler cap gasket for being deformed or damaged.




4. Visually inspect EVAP canister for cracks. Replace the EVAP canister if damaged.
