Blower Motor and Fan ReplacementREMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the front floor kick-up panel.
2. Remove the cover from the I/P electrical center.
3. Remove the BLO MOT (blower motor) MaxiFuse(R) #49 from the I/P electrical center.
4. Remove the I/P lower insulator panel - RH.
5. Disconnect the blower motor resistor electrical connector from the blower motor.
6. Disconnect the blower motor cooling tube from the HVAC module.
7. Remove the three blower motor retaining screws.
8. Remove the blower motor with fan from the HVAC module.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the blower motor with fan to the HVAC module.
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
2. Install the blower motor retaining screws.
Tighten
Tighten the blower motor retaining screws to 1.7 N.m (15 lb in).
3. Connect the blower motor cooling tube to the HVAC module.
4. Connect the blower motor resistor electrical connector to the blower motor.
5. Install the I/P lower insulator panel - RH.
6. Install the BLO MOT (blower motor) MaxiFuse(R) #49 to the I/P electrical center.
7. Install the cover to the I/P electrical center.
8. Install the front floor kick-up panel.
