Horn: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE



1. Remove the RH front fascia lower closeout panel.




2. Remove the bolt mounting the horn assembly to the skid bar assembly.
3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the horn assembly.
4. Remove the horn assembly from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE



1. Connect the electrical connector to the horn assembly.
2. Install the horn assembly to the vehicle. Position the aligning tab on the horn assembly to the skid bar.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

3. Install the bolt mounting the horn assembly to the skid bar.

Tighten
Tighten the horn assembly mounting bolt to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).




4. Install the RH front fascia lower closeout panel.
