Theft Deterrent Relay

The theft deterrent module enables the theft deterrent relay by grounding the start enable circuit. When the theft deterrent relay is ON, it completes the circuit between the ignition switch and the starter. This allows the engine to crank when the ignition switch is in the RUN position. The transaxle must be in either PARK or NEUTRAL in order for this to happen. When the theft deterrent relay is disabled, the circuit between the ignition switch and the starter is opened. This prevents the engine from cranking when the ignition switch is in the RUN position.
