Headlamp: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

CAUTION: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Cautions and Notices.




1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the splash shield.
3. Pull the 2 release tabs (1) upward in order to release the headlamp assembly (2).




4. Disconnect the electrical connectors and the bulb socket from the headlamp assembly.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE



1. Connect the electrical connectors and the bulb socket to the headlamp assembly.
Install the headlamp assembly to the vehicle body.




2. Push down on the 2 release tabs in order to install the headlamp assembly (2).
3. Install the splash shield.
4. Connect the negative battery cable.
