The following information will assist the technician in diagnosing BCM problems. The technician may view the displays while the vehicle is being driven. The data messages on the scan tool are divided into the following items:

Module Information
The module information contains the following information:
^ The BCM
^ The GM Pant Number
^ The Calibration ID
^ The year the BCM was built

Powertrain Control Module (PCM) To The BCM A/C Clutch Data
This contains the data sent to the BCM from the PCM.

Data
Data contains general information regarding the following items:
^ The ambient light sensor
^ The fuel sender
^ The low beam input
^ The high beam input
^ The battery voltage

Inputs
Inputs contain general information regarding the following items:
^ The A/C request
^ The ambient light sensor
