Vacuum Reservoir HVAC: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the LH front tender liner.
2. Disconnect the vacuum hose.




3. Remove the vacuum tank attaching bolt.

IMPORTANT: Lift the vacuum storage tank upward and slide forward to release the rear mounting tab from the fender liner.

4. Remove the vacuum tank.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE





IMPORTANT: Align the vacuum storage tank and slide rearward to install the rear mounting tab to the fender liner.

1. Install the vacuum storage tank to the fender liner.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the vacuum tank attaching bolt.

Tighten
Tighten the screw to 2.5 N.m (22 lb ft).




3. Connect the vacuum hose.
4. Install the LH front fender liner.
