Horn: Service and Repair

Front Of Vehicle:

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Raise the hood.
2. Remove the radiator upper air deflector.
3. Disconnect the electrical connector (4) from the horn to be replaced.
4. Remove the bolt retaining the horn to the horn bracket (7).
5. Remove the horn from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the horn to the vehicle.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the horn to horn bracket (7) retaining bolt.

Tighten
Tighten the horn mounting bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

3. Connect the electrical connector (4) to the horn.
4. Install the radiator upper air deflector.
5. Close the hood.
