Fuel Pump

Fuel Pump PSI.........................44-50

Loosen fuel tank filler cap to relieve pressure in tank. Disconnect circuit opening relay electrical connector located at lower left of driver's compartment above the kick panel. Start engine and operate until fuel supply is depleted. Crank engine for approximately 3 seconds, then place ignition switch in Off position.
Disconnect battery ground cable, then connect circuit opening relay electrical connector. Disconnect cold fuel line from fuel rail, then install suitable fuel pressure test gauge. Tighten fuel tank cap and connect battery ground cable. Place ignition switch in On position and check for leaks at gauge connections. Start engine an note pressure reading.
