Component Tests and General Diagnostics

1. Place the transaxle in the NEUTRAL position.
2. Place the clutch in the DISENGAGED position.
3. Run the engine at a normal idle.
4. Engage the clutch.
5. Wait approximately 9 seconds, then shift the transaxle into the REVERSE position.
6. Inspect the clutch for disengagement if a grinding noise is heard.
