Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) - Trim Plate Bezel Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Disable the SIR system. Refer to Disabling the SIR System in SIR.
2. Remove the instrument panel trim pad.
3. Remove the screws (1) from the trim plate (3)
4. Gently pry the trim plate (3) from the instrument panel, only near the retaining clips.




5. Disconnect the electrical connector (5) from the instrument panel lamp dimmer.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Connect the instrument panel lamp electrical connector (5).
2. Align the trim plate tabs to the retainers around the HVAC control and the radio.
3. Install the screws (1) to the trim plate (3).

Tighten
Tighten the screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

4. Install the instrument panel trim pad.




5. Enable the SIR system. Refer to Enabling the SIR System in SIR.
