The IPC Scan Tool Data Definitions contains a brief description of all Release System related PC parameters available on the scan tool.

Park Brake Switch: The scan to displays Active or Inactive. When the park brake is applied the scan tool will display active. When the park brake is released the scan tool will display Inactive.
