Ignition 3

The scan tool displays ON or OFF. When the BCM detects ignition 3 is present, the scan tool will display Yes. When the BCM does not detect ignition 3, the scan tool will display OFF. This ignition switch information is sent on the serial data line to systems that relay on this information to perform certain functions (RAP, wake-up, etc.).
