Horn: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the RH front fascia lower closeout panel.
2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the horn assembly.




3. Remove the bolt mounting the horn assembly to the skid bar assembly.
4. Remove the horn assembly from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the horn assembly to the vehicle.

Position the aligning tab on the horn assembly to the skid bar.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the bolt mounting the horn assembly to the skid bar.

Tighten
Tighten the horn assembly mounting bolt to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).




3. Connect the electrical connector to the horn assembly.
4. Install the RH front fascia lower closeout panel.
