Remote Cassette Player Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the instrument panel accessory trim plate.
2. Remove the nuts (2) from the tape player (1).




3. Pull the tape player (2) from the instrument panel (1) in order to gain access to the electrical connector (3).
4. Disconnect the electrical connector (3) from the tape player (2)
5. Remove the tape player (2) from the instrument panel (1).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the tape player (2) to the instrument panel (1).
2. Connect the electrical connector (3) to the tape player (2).

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.




3. Install the nuts (2) to the tape player (2).

Tighten
Tighten the nuts to 3 N.m (27 lb in).

4. Install the instrument panel accessory trim plate.
