Instrument Cluster Trim Panel Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Disable the SIR system. Refer to Disabling the SIR System in SIR.
2. Remove the screws (5) from the cluster trim plate (1).
3. Gently pry out the cluster trim plate (1).
4. Disconnect the instrument panel lamp dimmer electrical connector (3).
5. Disconnect the hazard warning switch.
6. Remove the cluster trim plate (1).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Connect the hazard warning switch.
2. Connect the instrument panel lamp dimmer electrical connector (3).
3. Align the cluster trim plate (1) tabs to the retainers.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

4. Install the screws (5) to the cluster trim plate (1).

Tighten
Tighten the screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

5. Enable the SIR system. Refer to Enabling the SIR System in SIR.
