Side Rail Lamp Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Open the assist handle covers using a small flat bladed tool.
2. Remove the two rail lamp screws.
3. Remove the rail lamp bulb from the base plate. Replace the bulb if necessary.
4. Remove the assist handle.
5. Disconnect the electrical connector from the side rail lamp.
6. Pull the service loop loose from the glue.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the service loop to glue using foam tape.
2. Connect the electrical connector to the side rail lamp.
3. Install the assist handle.
4. Install the rail lamp bulb to the base plate.
5. Install the screws to the side rail lamp.
Tighten
Tighten the rail lamp screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).
6. Close the assist handle covers pressing into place until fully seated.
