Fuel Level Sensor

Fuel Level Sensor:

The Fuel Level Sensor(4) is mounted on the Modular Fuel Sender Assembly(s). The PCM uses the fuel level input for various diagnosis including the EVAP System. In addition the PCM transmits the fuel level over the Class II communication circuit to the IP Cluster. The low fuel level message may not appear if other messages are being commanded, such as the rear deck lid, driver or passenger doors ajar. Ensure that all doors and compartment lids are completely closed. For further information regarding the Fuel Level Sensor refer to Fuel Metering Modes of Operation. Fuel Metering Modes
