License Plate Lamp: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Use the following procedure to remove the rear license plate lamp housing (1) from the rear bumper fascia (3):
1.1. Release the retaining tab (2) using a flat-bladed tool to push in the tab on the left end.
1.2. Pull the housing (1) from the bumper fascia (3).




2. Turn the license plate lamp socket counterclockwise to remove the rear license plate lamp socket (2) from the housing (3).
3. Remove the rear license plate lamp bulb from the lamp socket (2), if necessary.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the rear license plate lamp bulb to the lamp socket (2), if removed.
2. Turn the rear license plate lamp socket clockwise to lock the socket (2) into the housing (3).
3. Push the rear license plate lamp housing (3) into the rear bumper fascia until the rear license plate lamp housing retaining tab engages.
