Bezel Replacement - IP Cluster
Removal Procedure
1. Remove the instrument panel cluster (IPC) from the vehicle.
2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the instrument panel (I/P) dimmer switch or from the I/P dimmer/head-up display (HUD) switch.
3. Disconnect the driver information center (DIC) switch electrical connector.
4. Remove the IPC bezel retaining screws.
5. Remove the cluster bezel from the IPC.
6. Remove the retaining screws from the dimmer switch or from the dimmer/HUD switch.
7. Remove the dimmer switch or the dimmer/HUD switch.
8. Remove the DIC switch retaining screws.
9. Remove the DIC switch.
Installation Procedure
1. Install the DIC switch to the IPC bezel.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
2. Install the DIC switch retaining screws.
Tighten the screws to 1.5 N.m (13 lb in).
3. Install the dimmer switch or the dimmer/HUD switch to the bezel.
4. Install the retaining screws to the dimmer switch or to the dimmer/HUD switch.
Tighten the retaining screws to 1.5 N.m (13 lb in).
5. Install the bezel to the IPC. Align the bezel onto the guide pins.
6. Install the IPC bezel retaining screws.
Tighten the retaining screws to 1.5 N.m (13 lb in).
7. Connect the electrical connector to the dimmer switch or to the dimmer/HUD switch.
8. Connect the DIC switch electrical connector.
9. Install the IPC to the vehicle.
